2014 World Aids Day and National HIV Testing Week Events

We will be holding an exhibition at St Albans Cathedral of the Stand Tall Get Snapped Project from 24 November to 05 December, Click here for Exhibition info 

On Saturday 06 December we will be holding another Busking Day at the clock tower in St Albans High Street along with a street collection and a market stall Click here for Busking Day info

For World AIDS Day on 01 December we will also have a cabin in the Christmas Market by the Cathedral along with a collection and info distribution, also the opportunity to obtain information on our new HIV testing service and a test kit to take away if you wish.

Crescent Open Day and Garden Party  21st September 2pm to 6pm

On Sunday 21st September we will be opening our doors to all for an open day and garden party with tea and cake, wine and other refreshments. There will be live music from many of the acts that performed at our busking day in May. Plus there will be a chance to meet members, supporters and staff, see the facilities and learn more about the work we do.

Huge thanks to the lovely Denise Parsons and her band of fantastic and talented musicians we managed to raise an amazing sum on Busking day last Saturday (24 May 2014) Please do visit our blog savethecrescent to see more about the day, and some fantastic pictures taken by www.AndyBrain.co.uk too.

We are very grateful to Denise Parson from the Trestle Arts Project  and The Boot StAlbans  in particular as they provided food and drink on the day plus organised a raffle for us as well. Also big thanks to the The Meating Room for also providing free mini burgers and Lush St Albans for handing out freebies on the day too. Empire Records St Albans also helped by taking collecting tins on the day and advertising the event. Both Empire and the Boot have kindly agreed to support us with collecting funds on a regular basis.   

Chloe James Lifestyle Fashion Show in Aid Of the Crescent 03 April 2014

A fantastic night at Chloe James Lifestyle fashow show at the Cote Brasserie St Albans last Thursday 03 April which raised a huge sum for us and allowed us to raise the subject of HIV as well.

Huge thanks to Donna and her team for putting this event together for us entirely at their own expense, and organising a raffle to raise additional funds too! More details and photographs from this brilliant night can be found on our blog Save the Crescent also.
