The Crescent is staffed with qualified professionals with wide experience in working with those affected by HIV and other disabilities.
The team is able to provide advice and services that include HIV and Chlamydia testing, health promotion, counselling and emotional support, Peer Education, therapies and training in educational and private organisations.

The Board of Trustees directs the medium and long-term focus of the Crescent. The role of the Board is to work in tandem with The Crescent's expert team to determine the levels of support.
The Board is comprised of members of the Crescent who may have experience of living with HIV and other experts in their field but who themselves may not be living with HIV. That's why we describe ourselves as an organisation run both 'by and for people living with HIV'. Anyone living with HIV is entitled to membership, may vote at general meetings, stand for election to the Board, apply for a staff position.
